Padma Lakshmi Makes Me Hungry

Since I've got a new hobby of trying all kind of Chinese cuisine recipes, I suddenly love watching various cooking shows on television. The good thing is, besides showing how to cook delicious food, a lot of those shows have a beautiful host and sexy chef. One of the most notable women of cooking show is Padma Lakshmi, the host of US reality show program Top Chef.

Although born in Chennai, India (September 1, 1970), Padma Lakshmi is more popular in the US than in her own country, as she started her career as a model overseas. Once she has stated that she was the first Indian model to have a career in Paris, Milan and New York.

Besides from her modelling career and cooking stuff, Padma Lakshmi also famous being the ex-wife of controversial novelist Salman Rushdie (2004-2007), whose age is only 7 years younger than Lakshmi's father.
